Debbie Rich

Mrs. Rich teaches Freshman English at SCHS.  She has over 27 years teaching experience.  She is a 1976 graduate of Gordonsville High.  Mrs. Rich received her B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University.  She has teaching experience in Colombia, South America and has also attended Trevecca College, Cumberland University, and Tennessee Tech University.  Her teaching experiences include teaching at Pleasant Shade, Union Heights, Smith County Middle and SCHS.  Mrs. Rich and her husband, Arnold, live in Pleasant Shade.  They have two daughters: Amy Leigh, who teaches at Forks River and Jo Beth, who has chosen the medical field in college.  Mrs. Rich enjoys teaching her Sunday school class, reading, cooking, and working with the First Baptist Youth Gordonsville, but sitting on the back porch with friends is an enjoyment she adores.
